Concord Grape Widow's Tears

Concord Grape bestows its deep red-purple blooms upon sun- splashed borders, presentation beds and pollinator gardens starting in early summer. Its extended flowering time and low profile make it an excellent ground cover, dotting the area with its three-petaled, uniquely shaped, 1½–2" blossoms, which open at sunup and close each evening. A recipient of the 2014 Award of Garden Merit.
