Azurea Lungwort

Slug resistance and earlyseason color make this shade-loving perennial a standout for tough, low-light areas. Clusters of mauve buds open to bright violet-blue, funnel-shaped flowers in early spring, followed by tidy, all-green foliage. The oblong, lance-shaped 6" leaves knit together into a dense, low ground cover that thrives on shaded slopes, beneath trees, and in rock gardens with dappled sun.
